Our firm is dedicated to maintaining the reputation of this most excellent of old window designs.

We hope you will find our site informative.

To this end we copy originals slavishly, where necessary, or provide improvements to glazing, draught-proofing and security where not.

For example, we use the unique Fairmitre mitred joint, that ensures that no timber end grain is exposed to the weather in the main frame and sash, eliminating moisture traps which in ordinary timber frames could lead to premature deterioration.

As well as the box sash, we have taken the best of uPVC technology and applied it to timber. You will find no better quality timber tilt and turn windows, tilt and slide patios or espagnollette locking doors.

We use only Pine from Scandinavia, and hardwoods from suppliers who conform to the "Guidelines for the Sustainable Management of tropical Forests"
