A popular line. These can be fitted into houses of any age and still look in keeping. We have the expertise to turn a window opening into a French door and still be covered by our FENSA registration. United Windows' French doors use a secure multi-point locking system with hook-bolts and an extremely effective draught-proofing gasket system. Sturdy hinges (various designs) and 24mm or 28mm toughened double glazing with Pilkington's K glass make these doors totally unique The slave door (The one without a handle), has a hidden lever which shoots the bolts home top and bottom (we can use two handles). Traditional French doors (which we also make) are unable to match the superb draught-proofing of these doors.

The single door is the same specification as the French doors above. All traditional door designs can be made Stable doors using espagnolette locking and sealing systems are superior to the traditional stable door which tends to be draughty

TILT & SLIDE PATIO DOORThe United Windows Tilt & Slide Patio Door has a quality of appearance and performance, which were previously considered unattainable in wood. The moving panel of the Patio Door can be locked, tilted for ventilation; locked in line with the fixed panel for security; or slide open behind the fixed panel. With 28mm glazing units and a superb sliding mechanism, we are really proud of these.
